Bristol, Vermont - June 2017. Vermont is so intensely green...I always seem to see it with new eyes after returning home from traveling. The ferns along the path I walk to the river are a touchstone of home. I love their intricate, delicate patterns.
Bristol, Vermont - May 2017. I love the fuzzy leaves and stems and the luminous color of Pulsatilla (Pasque Flower). Pasque Flower is the State Flower of South Dakota where I grew up and is native to the tall-grass prairie there. Of course I would have one in my garden! That tiny red spider was a nice surprise in the shot!
